Lost Chicken Outfitters operates on 589 acres of prime West Texas hunting country just outside Santa Anna. The land has been in the owning family for generations and is a mix of open fields, brush, and woods that hold plenty of wildlife. It’s been a while since the land has been managed so we’re just now starting to curate the land. But we think you’ll agree it’s a special place.

The property is high-fenced and home to a variety of animals. Along with the native game you’ll be hunting, you might see our resident elk herd and grazing cattle. They aren’t part of the hunt (yet), but they’re part of the character of the place. We’re in the middle negotiating for the rights to hunt the elk and also bring in other exotics to hunt later that will fit into our native landscape.

We believe a hunt should be more than just pulling the trigger. Out here, it’s about good land, good company, and respecting the animals and the property. Whether you’re here for a fast-paced dove hunt, chasing whitetails, or putting in work on feral hogs, you’ll find a clean, well-managed ranch and people who care about making your hunt a good one.
